Referrals
Referrals to other physicians are done by the office staff. The Patient has to be seen in the office prior to the referral for the particular disease/symptom. Referrals are done as needed.
Medication Refills
Contact the office at least 2-3 days prior to refill any maintainence medication.
For any controlled medication refill, the patient will need to make an appointment for an office visit on a regular basis.
According to the new New York State Department of Health I-Stop Regulations, all controlled medications need to be verified and attested by NYSDOH Health Commerce System and may take upto 48 - 72 hours.
Prior Authorization
It may take up to 48 - 72 hours for the insurance company to process the information in order to approve/ deny a prior authorization for the medication. Please plan accordingly and call the office a few days before you run out of the medication.
Co-Pay
Payment is due on the date of service. |
